Ronit Roy began his career by acting in Jaan Tere Naam, his debut film, which completed a silver-jubilee run in almost every city except Mumbai. He has acted in over thirty films in ten years, but is best known for the characters he plays in two TV soaps, Mihir Virani in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi and Rishab Bajaj in Kasauti Zindagi Kay.
The way people have responded to his portrayal of Bajaj and Mihir is unprecedented. A participant of Jhalak Dikhla Jaa last year and, more recently, finalist in Yeh Hai Jalwa, Ronit is no stranger to dance or dance based reality shows.
